“CHOKE” is a self-taught artist from The Washington DC area.
CHOKE is an acronym that stands for
Creating Her Own Kinetic Energy
CHOKE’s art pays homage to her Taíno (Puerto Rican) and Mayan (Mexican) heritage, integrating indigenous patterns, imagery, and shapes. Her work is profoundly inspired by world travel, indigenous spirituality and her perception of sound as she colorfully translates her experience into form and pattern.
CHOKE acknowledges her strong connection to The Creator, which guides every aspect of her life.
commissions
Thank you for your interest in having a custom piece commissioned.
So you know what to expect during and after the creation process, here is a quick guideline to make sure both parties know what's expected of each other before committing!
Commissions vary in price based on the medium, scale, and subject matter. Some compositions require more effort (for example, 'collages' that include multiple 'scenes' ) and will therefore cost more. An estimate can be drafted for you based on the scope of the piece. Please complete the short form below and include as much detail as you can so an more accurate price range can be given.
Production times will vary based on the medium & scope of the project but estimate at least 6-8 weeks
You pay half of the total cost upon project initiation. The remaining balance is due upon receipt of your final artwork.
Clients are responsible for all shipping or delivery costs.
